Growing steady in Laupahoehoe.

Coiled frond, an energy swirl
shooting, reaching upwards

climbing

holding, hugging, caressing

soil and sky.

Independent Uluhe, 

Thick blanket for pali and aina

Healing aloha,

roots deep, trailing

wild in the cool rain.

Precious Uluhe,

adventurous

harvester of tomorrow.
