On Monday, I was waiting for my figure drawing class to start at the Honolulu Museum of Art. If I have to wait for something, I love to go to Starbucks. Yes, for the coffee, but there is also a payload of inspiration there for me to sketch. For example, the above woman on her phone was a golden opportunity and I decided to do a quick sketch of her.
A man then came along and sat in the seat in front of her. So I added him to the drawing.
I was a little unhappy with this until I darkened the window frames. With that, I made a really nice sketch. What do you think?
